Formation stages

Aspirants are young women who, feeling called by God, express their intention to willingly enter the institute with the spirit of dedicating themselves to God according to our charism.

This is a period that offers the Postulant an opportunity to discern her vocation and this last for one years. The postulancy provides more direct and concrete experience of community life according to our specific charism.
Before being invited for an interview the aspirant must submit the following:

Novitiate is two years of intense formation on prayer, study, community living and apostolate, sharing in the daily life and work of the sisters in our institute. All is done in preparation of making first profession of vows.

Through the profession of evangelical counsels of Chastity, Poverty, and Obedience; the candidate is admitted into the life and work of the institute. The sister continues to serve God's people in various apostolates, living with other sisters in the community, deepening her relationship with God. Under the direction of the sister in charge and that of the Superior General, suitable sisters at this stage shall be permitted to initiate courses of specialisation such as medical sciences, humanities, theology, scripture, catechesis, missiology, communication, spirituality, sewing of clerical and liturgical vestments.

By Perpetual Vows, a sister becomes a fully consecrated person, definitively incorporated into the institute. It is made between five and nine years of first profession.

The purpose of ongoing formation is to nourish and preserve fidelity both of the individual sister and the community and to maturity what was begun in initial formation so that the sister can fully express her gift in the church according to our specific charism.
