Who We Are

The Sisters of Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration (SPEA) is an active and contemplative congregation dedicated to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Founded on August 15, 1997 by Rev. Sr Dorothy Ngozi Ibekilo, SPEA, we have grown into a vibrant community of women consecrated to perpetual adoration and active service.

Our Mission

The Sisters of Perpetual Adoration are committed to a radical Gospel life which draws its vigor from Jesus in the Eucharist. We strive to create a universal fraternal community that radiates Christ's Love and Joy. Our collective goal is to revitalize a culture of service, compassion and spiritual rebirth, inspiring all to encounter Christ anew and grow deeper daily in intimacy with Him.

Our Vision

We envision a messianic community where the transforming power of Christ's presence in the Eucharist inspires the believer to live as a faithful disciple of Christ, and the Eucharistic adoration becomes an oasis of divine treasure where people find peace, comfort, solace and healing.

Community Life

Our community life is rooted in the Gospel ideal of fraternal charity and mutual support. Sisters share prayer, work, and recreation in a spirit of joy and sisterhood. We are bonded not only by our common vocation but by our shared love for Jesus in the Eucharist and our commitment to serve His people.

Spirituality

Our spirituality is fundamentally Eucharistic. Each day revolves around the celebration of the Eucharist and the practice of adoration. In silent prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, we receive the grace and strength needed for our active apostolates. Contemplation and action are inseparable in our way of life.

Prayer Life

Each sister is committed to a minimum of one hour of daily Eucharistic adoration. Beyond this personal commitment, the community gathers for communal prayer, the Liturgy of the Hours, and the celebration of Mass. Prayer is not merely a part of our schedule — it is the heartbeat of our entire existence.
